Il nuovo album dei The Dream Syndicate, Ultraviolet Battle Hymns and True Confessions, uscirà il 10 Giugno per Fire Records, l’etichetta che ha da poco ristampato il loro storico Out Of The Grey.
Quarto album per la formazione di Steve Wynn dopo la ripresa delle attività con How Did I Find Myself Here? del 2017, Ultraviolet Battle Hymns and True Confessions si preannuncia un album influenzato dai Velvet Underground, così come dal glam inglese e dal krautrock.
The Dream Syndicate di Ultraviolet Battle Hymns and True Confessions sono Steve Wynn, Dennis Duck, Mark Walton, Jason Victor e l’ormai membro stabile Chris Cacavas alle tastiere, oltre alla presenza in veste di guest di Stephen McCarthy dei The Long Ryders e di Marcus Tenney.
Where I’ll Stand è il primo singolo estratto.
